Nesting?

We have so much to do around the house. Not one drop of paint has been added to Isabel's nursery, nor has any clothing been washed, folded, or hung. Isabel's furniture sits in the warehouse of our local Babies R Us. For some reason there is no time in our schedules....ahem wonderful hubs! I refuse to take the blame this time!

Does every expectant mom nest? How much longer do I have to wait before it hits me? Am I the weird one that has put off getting everything together. Don't get me wrong, I am feeling the pressure. What if I go into labor early? God forbid guests see the organized disaster that is our house! Her room is partially cleaned out. There is several boxes in the kitchen and living room. Family is busting at the seams to come help. It's not like we have to do all this by ourselves, but what is the deal with me?!?!?!

Dear nesting bee,
Please sting me. SOON!

I had awesome intentions of keeping track of everything that happened during my pregnancy. I bought a cute little pregnancy journal. I was going to take a pictures of myself every month. I want to treasure every minute of being pregnant. What if I never experience this feeling again? I don't ever want to forget even the tiniest details. I have not filled out one page of my journal and have only taken one picture at 20 weeks. Epic FAIL! What am I going to do with myself???

On the bright side, I am really good at buying clothes, diaper bags, hair bows, and shoes for her! I have even bought her coming home outfit! I wonder if that makes up for all my shortcomings thus far?

Commercial

This commercial gets me every time. So glad Pampers recognizes us IVF moms!

Hi, My Name is Becky....

...and I am currently addicted to consignment sales!

Yes, you heard me. Last year after my nephew was born I ventured to the local consignment sale here in Lebanon. I liked it, I found reasonably priced items, good selections, and even some really great deals.

So when I got pregnant I was really needing some maternity clothes. I went to one about 30 minutes away and picked up a few items.

Well friends, now that I know I am having a girl my shopping is becoming a bit...obsessive. John and I have been browsing the baby stores and are pricing things we would like to have. The local consignment store that I started out at last year is having a sale this week. Friends, John went with me last night. We got several great bargains and lots of merchandise!

In two days I have signed up for FOUR more consignment sales. These sales have Expecting Mom pre-sales where I can shop before the sale really starts.

Yes, John is going with me.

It's a rush to find great deals!

19 Weeks!

How Far Along: 19 weeks today...almost halfway there!

Size of baby: About the size of a mango. 6 inches long and weighs about 8.5 ounces.

Maternity Clothes: All maternity clothes! I love the pants/shorts with the secret fit belly that comes all the way up. My wide waist band items don't cut if for me, they roll down all day and I fidget with the band constantly!

Weight Gain:  Nothing significant, maybe 2-3 pounds

Belly: I'm starting to get a little pudgy. The average person would still think I'm just fluffy!

Stretch Marks: None.

Sleep: I am trying to get used to sleeping on my left side. No more back and belly sleeping though! I have good and bad nights when it comes to sleeping. I take great naps during the day!

Best Moment of the Week: My next appointment on Thursday! Hopefully Baby House won't be too active and we can track down that heartbeat with the doppler!

Movement: None yet! This is what I am getting most antsy about.

Symptoms: I am starting to get indigestion. Using the restroom more frequently and oh those hunger pangs are like none I have ever felt before. When I am hungry, I need to eat then, not in 15 minutes! LOL

Food cravings: No cravings, strawberry milkshakes are really good though! My mom said she craved those when she was pregnant with me,

Gender: We find out in 8 days!! Can't wait!!!

What I Miss: Not a thing! I refuse to complain!

What I'm Looking Forward To: Finding out the gender and feeling those flutters!

Weekly Wisdom: Stop worrying!

Milestones: The miracle of getting pregnant!

Emotions: Whew! I cry at the drop of a hat!
